We're still here...

We're still here.  Just not much going on.  Just working.  Fall is here... and quickly leaving (no pun intended).  :)  The weather has been warm but the leaves are almost all gone off of the trees and it's supposed to start getting cooler.  We've had a fairly busy few days... we're dog sitting Violet for the week and I've babysat the past two nights.  It was a lot of fun!  Next weekend Jay is off so hopefully we'll have nice weather and can go hiking or something... we'll see.  Stay tuned....

Updates

Not much going on lately... it's starting to get really cold out and we have yet to turn on the heat... I dread that!  We've been working and hanging out.  Jay did a lot of yard work yesterday and I cleaned house and did laundry today.  We're having dinner at my grandma's tonight for my sister's birthday so hopefully I'll have some pics from that later.  Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I'm so excited!  I love it.  I love all of the yummy food and just spending time with family and friends.  Not to mention the 4 day weekend!  So... until next time...

Halloween 2009

So I think this Halloween was the most low key Halloween we've had.  The weather was rainy and cool and we just weren't feeling it.  Jason got his fix at the Haunted House in Lakeville and I just didn't care.  So we decorated the porch a bit, I wore my Wake Forest t-shirt and Jay's Wake PJ pants and went as a Wake fan and Jay wore his Boston Red Sox shirt and hat and was a Red Sox fan.  How boring!  Anyway- we had quite a few Trick-or-Treaters and even had a few people ask about our 'haunted house' and why we didn't do anything this year.  It's so funny that they actaully remember and that we are known as the 'spooky house' to them.  Ha!  Anyway- it's still rainy and cold so we've been in our pajamas all day.  So lazy!  I think the doggies appreciate it though... off to nap.  Night!
