Boredom...

So... I'm bored.  No telling where this will go... I've been hanging out at home today with the puppies.  My hubby is at work.  I hate that he has to work weekends.  It sucks.  But he has a good job that pays well so I guess I can't complain.  The dogs have been really good for me this weekend too.  Normally Chance doesn't listen to me, especially when we're outside, but this weekend he has stuck to me.  They let me clean house yesterday with little interruptions.  I know what you're thinking- what do you mean?  Well, normally Chance needs to go out 7 times during an hour time span when I'm cleaning and not paying him any attention.  He's just like a kid.  And Salem.  Well- he's always good so I'm a lucky mommy.

This is going to be a busy week at work.  The event I've been planning for months is finally here and I pray that it's a success.  I've got a few loose ends to tie up for it but I'm sure it will all get done.  Other than that we have no plans for the week.  Our yard needs mowing really bad but it's so wet.  It's been raining since we came home from the beach.  I'm ready for some sunshine.  I'm also ready to get some pumpkins and mums and violets and start the fall decorating outside.  I love this time of year.  The cooler weather, the pretty leaves, and just the change altogether.

Well- off to find something to watch on TV and wait for Jay to get home.  Talk to you soon!

Happy 3 YEAR Anniversary to US!

Our three year anniversary was this past Wednesday (September 16).  It's hard to believe it's been three years since...

I could not ask for a more wonderful, caring, loving husband.  He has a big heart and loves me more than life itself.  I cannot imagine my life without him or his love.  He makes me so proud to be his wife all the time.
Over the past year we've been scary clowns,

had a wonderful Christmas,

and took trips here and there.

We've been through a health scare with Jay's foot, and grown closer than ever.  I know the next year will bring many more memories and I cannot wait to share them with Jason.  I love you baby!

Vacation 2009

We recently just returned from our 2009 beach vacation.  We had a blast.  We rented a little one bedroom condo at our favorite beach, took the dogs, and just relaxed for a few days.  Jay ended up getting sick with a head cold/sinus infection but we made the best of it.  We got up each morning, cooked breakfast (with one pan mind you), then headed to the beach.  The dogs loved it!  Especially Chance because there was a big "pond" on the beach he could swim in and not get knocked around by the waves.  And boy did he swim!  He would bring us a ball or toy to throw and we would and he would swim out and get it.  Over and Over.  And over again.  We ate our traditional pizza on the beach one night and went out to dinner the other nights.  One night, we took our annual stroll on the pier.  About half way back down the pier, we stopped at this table where people were cleaning and filleting their catch from the day.  There was quite a crowd watching them and then looking over the side into the water.  I wondered "what is so interesting about this?" Well, let me just tell you.  One of them chucked a fish skeleton over the edge and what we saw next was INCREDIBLE!  As soon as it hit the water, 7-8 SHARKS came up to grab it.  IT. WAS. CRAZY!  We watched for a while (until they had no more) and the sharks kept coming back to the surface every time.  And we weren't that far from the shore.  Just past where the waves were breaking.  I will never.  EVER. Swim in the ocean again!  Jason LOVED it.  He, for some reason, loves sharks!  It was pretty amazing.  Anyway, we had a lot of fun and can't wait to go back next year (but won't be staying in the same place.  It had some... shall I say... problems.  Tub wouldn't drain, dirty carpet, one frying pan, etc...  So we're going to look for something else).  Here are a few pics from our trip:
