Not much...

So not much has been going on. Jay's been working a lot. We did hang out at the pool sans doggies on Sunday. That was nice... Otherwise, we've just been working and trying to spend every waking minute with each other. The doggies are good... they FINALLY go to the groomer next week. It's amazing how fast their hair grows. We've also found more ticks... I'll be so glad when winter's here... well sort of.

I'm in the process of planning a HUGE event for work. It's been fun so far- let's just hope I can pull it off. I'm talking like 600 people. We've got our date and venue (Deacon Tower)... now all I have to do is compile the guest lists, mail invitations, and pick out a menu. I'm pretty excited about it. I've never done this before but I think I like it... maybe I'll change professions. Anybody need a party planner? Anyone?

This week was also bulky item collection in our neighborhood (I know- how can you contain yourself with such interesting topics...). It's amazing to me how people drive around and go through other people's trash (well- it IS pretty much trash, right?) and take stuff... seriously. But I guess the saying is true- "One man's trash is another man's treasure". But- at 6:30AM? For real- someone was outside on Monday morning in front of my house loading up the neighbors broken treadmill... at 6:30AM! Did I mention it was 6:30AM? How do I know this you ask? Well- my wonderful, scared-of-his-own-shadow, Chance barked the ENTIRE time I was in the shower that morning. And you know how you get that feeling like... "ok... what is he barking at? Is there someone trying to break in? Is there something out "there"? " So basically my whole shower I thought "well, hope no one is trying to break in... guess I'll just wait to hear the alarm go off"... But as soon as I turn the water off I hear a truck go up the street and come to find out they were loading up the treadmill. Seriously. Did I tell you it was 6:30AM? Geesh.

Anyway... off to the shower and bed. Night!
