Hiking and such...

Jason and I took the dogs hiking this past Saturday.  It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun.  We headed to Stone Mountain State Park and hiked for about 4 hours.  The dogs loved it!  Chance was a trooper and pulled us the whole way.  Salem, on the other hand, lasted about 2 miles then slowed to a crawl and we were pretty much dragging him at that point, so we scooped him up and he rode in the backpack the rest of the way.  So cute and SO spoiled! 

Anyway... we were both exhausted after 7 miles of hiking so we grabbed some dinner and chilled at home the rest of the night.  Sunday was a very lazy day... one because we were tired and sore, but two because Jay was getting sick... nasty cough... and sure enough today, Monday, we ended up at the doctor and him with a virus!  Fever, coughing, chills, stuffy head... poor guy.  So I'm spoiling him more than normal and waiting on him hand and foot.  Let's hope he can kick it before TURKEY DAY!  So excited!  Good food, time off work, and, most importantly, quality time with family!
