Horses and tired...

It's Thursday night. I'm tired. Beat really. I went to horse back riding tonight. It is so much fun. For those of you that don't know- I volunteer at Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center. Tonight was the first night of the summer session. And let me just tell you- it was SO hot! Not really hot I guess, but HUMID. I was standing in one spot and sweating. The horses were all SOAKED from sweating. It was fun though. I got to lead a horse for a little girl named Emily (being a leader is much more fun than side walking- which involves exactly what it says- walking beside the horse- BORING). When you're a leader you get to interact with the horses more. I was with Flash tonight. He is the sweetest, most patient horse of the bunch. After class, I got to soak him down with the hose and brush him really good. He seemed to really appreciate it. It is such a rewarding job- to see the kids and to get to be with the horses. I think I want a horse... LOL :)
