Christmas is coming!

Christmas is coming... and FAST!  There are 24 days till Christmas.  Wow!  I can't believe it's already December, much less Christmas.  Our Christmas cards came in the mail today and I got them all addressed tonight.  They are sealed and ready to go.  Just waiting on the stamps to arrive in the mail.  Yes, I ordered stamps online.  Why?  Because everytime I've ever gone to the post office there's a line a mile long and the people working there are more hateful than Scrooge.  And they are usually sold out of the pretty holiday ones I want.  So I ordered them.  Get over it.  :o)  Just kidding!
We got 95% of our shopping done last night too.  I ordered a bunch of stuff online yesterday (got some good "Cyber Monday" deals) and we went 2-3 places last night to make purchases.  I have a few odds and ends left to get but it shouldn't take long.  I hope we can get a tree this week or weekend and I'll start wrapping.  I love being done early.  It really lets me enjoy this time of year.  Otherwise, I'm stressing and running around crazy.  I think it has a little bit to do with my OCD. 
Sunday we went to Lowe's and rented a carpet cleaner and cleaned the carpets.  Needless to say they were pretty gross and I feel so much better.  Again...the OCD. 
Oh- and we finally had to turn on our heat.  Yep.  Made it to December 1st without it.  It hasn't been that cold here yet so it hasn't been that bad.  The thermostat hit 62 degrees and I said "That's it.  I'm cold.  Heat is going ON." 
Both of us are finally feeling better... still coughing and blowing our noses occasionally (I know... too much information).  Hopefully we will go the rest of the winter and not be sick again... hopefully. 
Chance and Salem are good too.  Spoiled rotten!  Chance is enjoying laying in front of the space heater and Salem loves being your own personal heater and snuggling up under the blankets with you.
Oh- and I also hope my husband is reading this and I hope that we can get our outside decorations up this weekend too.  (Wow... we have a lot to do this weekend!)
